“Have been consuming this version (and quite a few more)of honey for over 20 years and have yet to encounter a type that has the same qualities as the Ohia Lehua. After it crystalizes, it seems to have a slight saltiness to it which lends to its rich flavor profile. Only one other honey grown from the leatherwood tree in Tasmania comes close. Enjoy!”
“I love this honey. I bought a small jar when in Oahu last year and quickly went through it. This honey makes oatmeal and hot tea much better. I will probably buy no other honey than Big Island Bees from now on.”
“We've been eating Ohia Lehua Honey for 40 years - sometimes as much as 80 pounds a year!. It's got to be good to maintain our loyalty over this amount of time! Deeply committed to "our" honey,

“This honey has such a lovely flavor and texture that can go with so many items. It is not overly sweet as to overpower whatever flavors are in the item you are using it for and the texture has the slightest hint of granularity which gives it a distinct charactristic quality.”
