“Easy to light, long burn time with good heat output. They do expand so for small stoves best broken into half. Only dropped a star because the packaging does not exclude moisture so they need to be stored in a shed once the pallet has been opened.”

“I have not been impressed with these heat logs. The packaging is flimsy and a number of the packets had broken making the difficult them carry. They give off a good heat but they burn pretty quickly. Once they get going, there's no stopping them and controlling the air flow doesn't seem to make much difference. I ordered similar before and they were much better. They would tick over in the grate if you turned the air down but these are not the same quality.”

“These burn hot! One word of warning though - do please note what Bioglow says regarding the size of your firebox. They expand by about 1/3 so in a smaller firebox they will cause you a problem and may come up against the window and fall out when you open it. They are for large fireboxes so be warned and even if you break them down (easy to break) they can still cause problems and burn faster. You will also end up with quite a lot of very fine ash which is very good for the garden! One last word - to keep them going you must add another briquette before the flames die out. They are probably at their best when mixed with seasoned logs. Highly recommended in the right fire.”

“Used to buy a similar product from Verdo. These Oak Nestro Wood Briquettes are similar but round . They break apart easily to make smaller pieces for lighting or starting your fire. Burn for a long time and are fairly economical. I bought Half Pallet 480kg, in February for my two log burners. Nice clean fires, hot enough to get the kettle singing. Easy storage as they are wrapped. Great. Will buy again.”
