“Excellent product. They don't burn too quickly and produce a lot of heat. We use these in our wood burner stove, which has a boiler for our hot water, once the fire takes we turn the controls down and these logs burn slowly for a long time.”

“The briquettes split easily, light quickly, burn very hotly .and glow red hot for quite a long time when the flames die down. However on balance I prefer the old Verdo briquettes which were less tightly packed and burned not so hotly but they enabled me to have more control over my fire.”

“Good points are very easy & fast lighting and hot initial burn. While the burn rate slows substantially after 40 minutes or so for each briquette they have a very long residual burn - can often relight next day without any special effort in slowing burn overnight, can leave just above trickle. On bad side a few of these briquettes have not burned well, appeared to have moisture or a contaminant in them, small bangs, blowing smoke, a little ash, out of the door. Vast majority great, but some not, never experienced with any other fuel log or natural wood so overall not sure about these briquettes.”
