Super-Dome Squirrel Baffle Reviews

4.6 Rating 10 Reviews
The photo shows a yellowish tinted dome but I have bought two and they are both clear, which I prefer. This dome has totally defeated the squirrels and wood rats that ruined my bird feeding previously three years ago. It's well made. We can all see that it's plastic but this is very study plastic, where the screw threads are for the two threaded hooks, you can tell that plastic is reinforced and you're not going to break it if you tighten firmly. These two domes hanging from my shaded trees with a birdbath between them are right outside our kitchen bay window, and we are wonderfully entertained. This dome is a solid product that will probably last longer than me, truth be told.

I've had a similar baffle for years and it's the only true way to keep squirrels at bay. The key is to have a feeder small enough to keep squirrels from grabbing the edge of the feeder as they go by after falling off the dome.

The baffles works really well. Very happy with them. So far, the squirrels haven't figured out how to get on the feeders.

I made a Lost in Space robot from the 60s TV show. There are only a few people that make an authentic bubble and they only make a few. So I found your squirrel baffle. It was nearly perfect in size. I did have to make a bottom. Members in my robot club have shown interest in this product. You might get orders from them. Smile.

This is my second purchase of this super dome. The first one I used to keep squirrels and chipmunks off my suet feeder. It worked perfectly. This time I used it to provide protection to the seed in my platform feeder. It's been great, keeps the rain/snow out and the birds hangout under it.

A baffle was shipped to me without the hardware to make it useable. Customer Service refused to help and told me to get in touch with the manufacturerer even though they shipped the baffle without the part.

It's wide enough to provide excellent protection and you can install the hanging rods as shown, or switch them if you want the feeder to hang down lower from the baffle. Or you can go to Home Depot and pick up other options that will screw in. Our birds gave this Five Beaks which is their highest rating.
