“I had purchased an older version of this feeder several years ago. It was great for the smaller birds. Last fall a bear visited the feeders and bent them all. So I purchased replacements and loved this newer larger version! But this spring a bear got into them overnight. The house feeder was on the ground and I could it bend back enough to use, but this hanging tube feeder was totally gone!! I looked everywhere…even into the woods but not a sign of it. I’d love to know if he ever got it opened!”
“I have had my Brome Squirrel Buster Plus for many years at my VT home. This winter a major storm knocked it off its branch. When I went to retrieve it, the rim that attaches to the top had been chewed. It still functions, but I decided to get a new feeder. I have many red-tailed squirrels that hover around the feeder, but their efforts to get seeds from it have always failed.
