“This bird seed is a high protein based mixture. My song birds appear to not like it much, and prefer the song bird mix I purchase at the local feed store. The protein mixture eventually gets eaten, but it is the last feeder to empty. Would I recommend it…..no. Buy your standard song bird mix at your local store, and your birds will snarf it up.”

The mix is solid and I have very little waste. What is thrown out of the feeders gets eaten on the ground. The mourning doves gather under whatever feeder I put this mix in. Most feed I buy has a lot of waste, but not this one. Buy a bag and see for yourself.”
