“I used this cage on a platform feeder from a different vendor to keep the pigeons, doves and squirrels from eating all the feed that was intended for the smaller guys.
The cage worked really well. I used small gage wire to attach it to the foot rests and the housing. Then I added a piece of chicken wire on the top to keep the unwanted guests out. The chicken wire is attached to the front edge and works like a hinge. It was added after the attached photo was taken. The tie wire wasn't enough to keep the doves out.
I use an 8oz long funnel to fill the feeder box.”
