Of all the cylinders we have used, the Woodpecker Feast has been the best.

My first one I put out got gobbled by a bear....had to hang it higher on a far out branch so the bear could not reach. Bear has gone to bed for the Winter now so I can hang the cylinders normally!! The birds and squirrels love the cylinders. I buy whole peanuts in the shell for the squirrels and blue jays--they love them!! Blue Jays sit in the trees and when they see me they start calling for me to put more out. They all love the Feast Cylinders!!

Hi Margaret, Thank you for sharing this wonderful story! We’re glad you found a creative solution (and that the bear is now hibernating 😄). It’s such a joy to hear how much the birds and squirrels enjoy the Feast Cylinders—especially those blue jays letting you know when it’s time for more! We truly appreciate your support and love hearing about the wildlife enjoying your backyard. 🐦🐿️ Birds Choice Team

Arrived with no packing material, only wrapped in brown paper. After the rough treatment of shipping, portions of the nut cake were crushed and not attached, forming a pile of nuts in the bottom of the plastic bag. Update: A replacement product is being shipped and I believe the company plans to insure that future shipments are sufficiently protected with packaging materials.

No birds yet. Been about a week at our CA backyard. Bought another for my daughter in Portland and she gets all kinds of birds including woodpeckers.

Woodpeckers, nuthatches and chikadees all feed off these. Big hit in my backyard.

Popular with all birds...not just woodpeckers. Fun to watch them feast.
