“I bought one for myself and over the years bought two more as gifts for my sisters in Vermont. Only problem is the weather guard wore down in the Phoenix summer heat and too expensive to replace.”
Hi Jerald,
Thank you so much for your continued support over the years and for sharing our feeders with your sisters as gifts! We’re glad to hear the feeders themselves have served you well.
We do understand your frustration with the weather guard wearing down in the intense Phoenix heat. Extended exposure to extreme sun and temperatures can be especially tough on outdoor materials over time. We appreciate the feedback regarding replacement part pricing and will be sure to share it with our team.
Thank you again for being a loyal customer!
Best regards,
Birds Choice Team
Hi Oral,
We love hearing that! 🐦👏
So glad the birds are enjoying it—and that the baffle is doing double duty keeping both the weather and those pesky squirrels at bay. Thanks for sharing your experience and for choosing Birds Choice!
Kind Regards,
Birds Choice Team
“One side of the handle keeps popping out even after hanging the feeder or carrying the feeder by the handle. Even when I push the handle back in, it pops back out. Also, the silver cover of one of the openings was hanging loose because the screw was unscrewed.”
“I have had this for over 10 years. It has a large seed capacity but is easy to fill. The seed stays dry AND it has resisted squirrels and raccoon assaults. The birds are on it constantly in the winter. I just bought a new one for my niece and nephew who are budding 7 yo birders!”
“Another bird favorite...
The adjustable baffle does help deter the larger undesirable birds while allowing smaller birds to land and feed. Filling it doesn't have to happen a lot since it holds many days supply and keeps it dry.”
“The "kids" have take to the feeder seemlessly-an excellent buy, replacing my similar but larger feeder.
The only drawback, and it is common to all these types, is the "dove proof." Spillage is an issue. If the ports were a fraction higher, it would cut down on many doves that feed from under it.
But an excellent feeder.”
“This is the third one of these I’ve bought. It’s a very well-made feeder, and the baffle can be lowered to keep larger birds away. I use sunflower hearts in all 3, and the goldfinches love it.”
