“This birdbath is simple and beautiful, and the smooth glazed surface is very easy to clean. We just tip out the old water, wipe with a paper towel, and rinse.
The midnight blue color blends in with the natural garden colors, so if you want your birdbath to be more noticeable, then go with the red, or with the brighter green color.
The basin does fit a bit loosely on top of the pedestal. We're not really sure if that is intended. So take care when moving or emptying.
(It would be very helpful if Ohio Stoneware would design-in some unobtrusive handholds under the basin for more security when handling this large and potentially slippery item.)”
“This bird bath is very well made and designed. It is heavy enough to provide structural stabiity. I also like that the bath itself is notched into the base so that it won't fall off should an animal jump up on top of it (cats and racoons in particular). It is very easy to clean and the base is wide enough to make it difficult to tip over. It is also a very attractive looking piece to have in ones landscape.”
