“I live in on isolated forested land in the Ozark Mountains. I use five suet feeders. I will not purchase the Pine Tree Farms Orange Suet Dough Cake again for two reasons. First, the packaging is difficult to open and wasteful compared to the other suet cake I use. The only reliable way I have found to efficiently open the packaging is to cut the plastic tray's cover with a box cutter.
Second, though the birds I feed will eat the suet, they do not seem to like it as much as the suet I usually use. The good part of this is that I do not have to open the packaging often. The bad part is that I am not pleasing the birds that want the suet cake they prefer.
If you live in Northwest Arkansas, I recommend the suet cakes sold by Harps grocery stores or Chewy.”
