“We generally like it, esp. how easy it would be to clean. The smaller birds are enjoying it, but the larger ones (cardinals, blue jays) are not coming as they usually did to the old feeder. I've seen a few of the larger birds try to sit there, but it seems like they don't fit and have to sit sideways. Also, the area where the seed falls is deeper than we are used to and a LOT of seed shells accumulate instead of falling or blowing away. We also like how it opens. We had a hard time finding a feeder that did that.”
Hi Margaret,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback! We’re glad to hear you like the feeder’s easy-to-clean design and opening mechanism, and that the smaller birds are enjoying it.
We’re sorry to hear that some of the larger birds aren’t as comfortable with the feeder as they were with your previous one. We also appreciate your feedback about the seed shells accumulating in the feeding area. We’ll be sure to pass these comments along to our product team, as feedback like this helps us continue improving our feeders.
Thank you again for choosing Bird’s Choice and for sharing your experience with us. We hope your larger feathered visitors come around soon!
Kind Regards,
Birds Choice Team
“It's a sturdy feeder but the feeding tray is so deep, some of the little birds have to stand in it. Also, the wind can't blow out the seed hulls so there's a lot of buildup.”
Hi Kathie,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you found the feeder to be sturdy. We appreciate your comments about the tray depth and seed hull buildup, and we'll share your suggestions with our product team as we continue to improve our designs.
Thank you for choosing Birds Choice!
“These feeders are well constructed and easy to clean and fill. It is the only brand of recycled plastic feeder that will purchase due to the hinged roof that makes filling the feeder quick and SO EASY to do.”
Hi Ruth,
We appreciate your wonderful review!
We’re so glad you’re enjoying the quality and thoughtful design of your feeder.
The hinged roof is one of our favorite features too—it makes caring for your birds simple and hassle-free. We truly appreciate your continued support!
Thank you,
Birds Choice Team
“I have own one of those red metal cardinal feeders for a few years with various degrees of disapointment in the ease to clean and dispense category. This one is definetly a winner in those categories. My feather friends seem to also like it as well. Awesome product.”
