“everything is durable but the hanger. This is my third Mafnet Mesh bird feeder. My only criticism is the hanger. It is a twisted wire hanger which breaks due to larger birds and squirrels swinging on it. The twisted wire becomes frayed and breaks. I do wish the hanger would be modified, It definitely shortens the lifespan of the feeder.”

“This feeder is for large seeds, such as black oil sunflower seeds. It will not work for no-mess (hulless seeds). If you have a lot of bird traffic and don't mind a lot of seed shells on the ground, this high capacity feeder might be just the thing.”
“This bird feeder is great for the black sunflower seed. This is the second one we have purchased and the birds love it. The wire for our first one broke after about 5 years but that can be attributed to the squirrels. Very happy with the product”
