Hello Reshma, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Our biscuits are traditionally baked biscuits so this does mean they are a hard biscuit, perfect for dunking in your tea. We're sorry it wasn't to your taste, your particular biscuit was Vanilla flavour, we also produce chocolate and ginger biscuits and at Christmas we also have all spice flavoured biscuits for sale, so perhaps these would be more suitable for you next time. Thank you and Kindest Regards, Biscuiteers x
“Whilst I hate to be negative about a freebie, I was looking forward to trying a Biscuiteers biscuit and I was disappointed. I have bought these for people before as presents but had not yet tried one myself as they are way too expensive to just buy for yourself. I am now a bit embarrassed that I gave these to people. Yes, the packaging has a very luxurious feel and yes, the icing is impeccable but the biscuit is completely without flavour. Nothing. Not unpleasant, just bland beyond belief. Maybe a Jolly Ginger would be better but definitely give the plain ones a miss. It was not helped by the huge dot of icing used to keep the biscuit in place which meant that it was effectively iced on both sides. 5 stars for presentation, 0 for taste so 2 overall as, above everything, food should taste good.”
“This was free so I should not really moan, but when the biscuit had a black short whisker looking hair stuck in the icing i had to break that bit off and not eat it. I believe this one biscuit normally costs around £9 and for that price if I had to pay I would expect quality control before sending out? The packaging was nice as a plus point!”
