“Biscuiteers sent a fruitcake to my daughter. I requested a birthday cake. When I contacted them about the error, their response was to ask me if I "scrolled down" to read the cake description rather than apologize. I am from the US so we call a fruitcake a fruitcake rather than just a cake and the response time to my email queries ( at least 3 in this case) was 12+ hours each time. To boot, my daughter is allergic to nuts. If you are NOT from the UK where there you can communicate in one syllable words to this company's employees, do not use them to send very very expensive gifts. Customer service failed me and my daughter. She put the cake in the trash.”

I'm so sorry for the confusion regarding our Personalised Christmas Cake, we do try to make this very clear on our website that this is a Christmas cake and not specifically a Birthday cake. The images and name outline that it is a Christmas themed cake and the description does state the following: 'Our moist Christmas cake is made from a traditional fruitcake recipe and is covered in layers of marzipan and icing.'
