“Well! Where can I start... ordered this with a chosen delivery date for Saturday 21st March. Received texts from Royal Mail saying it will be delivered between 10am-2pm... time came and went.. then a text from Royal Mail saying it’s not allowed to be delivered. My friend, who I was sending it to to perk her up (she’s a young mum of a disabled child and a toddler and was feeling down) said she had no card for attempted delivery.. her husband went to Delivery Office and was told that if a store is not open at the weekend they cannot deliver the item!!! How does this work if Biscuiteers have delivery dates that can be booked for Saturdays... I so much wanted this to be a surprise for her for Mother’s Day - she lost her own mum when she was 18 years old... I just don’t understand the Delivery Office answer or that I can pick a Saturday delivery date on the website...”
