“Having been a customer both sending and receiving beautiful gifts both personally and as a corporate client, time to move on. Very poor experience with customer service on a problem with same day delivery. In short, they managed to completely escalate something that could have been so easily resolved by reiterating the same statement the three times I contacted them, which is that because the date selected on what I had thought was an automatic same day delivery service with corresponding price paid was actually for the next day (I still don't understand why you would select and pay for the same day delivery service and select the next day) and my error, that they wouldn’t even consider refunding the difference between next day and same day delivery, which comes to something in the region of £8.00 (on a £36 gift) .
To be honest the amount of time I spent trying to resolve/give feedback on this beggars belief and completely unnecessary. As a business they have unfortunately seemed to have lost their 'customer focus'. I regret to say, that as a longstanding customer having spent over £600 online, not including anything I've gone to store (Northcote Road) for, will not be shopping with Biscuiteers again.
Wishing them good luck with their customer acquisition and retention strategy going forward, particularly as I was the recipient of one of their gifts over the weekend as well. My mother, who came to them as a recommendation from me, sent me some biscuits to arrive on my wedding anniversary on Friday, which arrived on Sunday. I do hope she has not had to battle as hard as I have to get someone to even consider a refund. Poor show Biscuiteers.”
