“How disappointing. The main biscuit had an area that could be personalised or could state a generic happy birthday. No personalisation option is offered on the vegan product and they didn’t ice a generic happy birthday or decorate it in anyway - just left in blank. It looked unattractive as the area (half the biscuit) was just white and obviously lacking a message - it looked utterly unfinished. I was so disappointed and messaged customer services who were so ungracious and blamed me firstly for not paying the extra to personalise and when I pointed out there was no option they gave me some as hoc excuse that didn’t make sense - something about the vegan icing taking longer to dry so it wasn’t an option (well this isn’t stated anywhere on the website or pointed out during the order process and if the case why isn’t that section redesigned instead of left empty and blank?) and continued to take no responsibility whatsoever for the poor product. There is an image on their website for this item showing an iced happy birthday message so that is then misleading. The responses went to and fro excuse after excuse and when I asked for contact details of someone who could help me further I was told he was the manager and there was no one higher than him to help me. I ended up being more frustrated with the customer services than the issue though I am still so upset to have given such a poorly presented present to someone special for their birthday. I’m still waiting for the issue to be satisfactorily resolved.”

The reason our biscuits cost what they do is because our Icing Team carefully ice intricate designs by hand which can be very difficult and take time, we put a lot of care into our product to keep them at the highest quality.
