Reason alone to order from biscuteers ( I entered the wrong address and not not realize my mistake until the order had been picked up for delivery- and they worked with FedEx to get my gift there in time for Mother's Day ) the gift itself got rave reviews from my mother-in-law. “Expensive delivery. Didn't arrive on time and had excuses. Apology unaccepted. Gift wasn't able to be given as my Nan was down for the day and had to purchase extra gift to cover this companies failings. Next day delivery should not be offered if cannot be guaranteed and stating it on your site does not count as an acceptable "get out" clause.”

I do apologise that your order was not delivered on the day you selected at checkout, with our Royal Mail next day delivery service it is not guaranteed that the delivery will arrive on the day you have selected. We do try to make this clear on our website by stating: '*Please note this is not a guaranteed delivery date. 95% of deliveries will be made on your chosen date (Mon-Sat excluding Bank Holidays), the remaining 5% will be delivered the following day.' This is then further outlined in customer's order confirmation emails, so I do apologise if this was not made clear.
We do also offer a courier nominated day service at checkout which is guaranteed to deliver on the day you select at checkout.

“Biscuits and tin delicious and beautiful and much appreciated by my mother. However, and it’s a big however, the delivery was APPALLING. I booked delivery for Saturday to give a bit of margin for error and Dpd sent me a text message on Friday saying as I requested they had changed delivery date to Sunday. This simply wasn’t true and clearly was their way of dealing with an overload of work. Several text messages later they eventually delivered on TUESDAY. Really really disappointing. I love Biscuiteers products but feel I can no longer order them unless they change to a more reliable delivery company. Biscuiteers have refunded my delivery charge but I’m afraid that’s not really the point. Very sad not to have had my Mothers Day Present deliveredon time despite having organised it well in advance.”

We are so sorry for the delayed delivery of your order, I can completely understand how disappointing and frustrating this must have been, when you have paid specifically for a Sunday delivery and your order does not arrive until a few days later. I can assure you this is not our usual standard of service and we have taken this matter up with our account manager to make sure this doesn't happen again.
