“I thought the tin itself was absolutely lovely, and the icing was great. The recipient generously shared her gift, and I felt quite embarrassed because the biscuit itself was a real disappointment. It was completely tasteless. I know the presentation is the "point" but GBBO would say that the biscuit itself has to be good too.”

I do make biscuits so I know the work it entails, and even with this in mind the biscuits are very pricey so I think they would not be appreciated unless the recipient knew of the brand kudos.”
