BOCHASWEET™ GRANULAR SUGAR REPLACEMENT 2 LB / 1-Pack Reviews

4.9 Rating 35 Reviews
This sugar replacement is amazing! It's the only product I've found that tastes exactly like sugar, leaves no aftertaste, and causes no gastrointestinal issues. Although due to cost I try to use it judiciously. But I use it in my homemade ice cream, in baked goods and in my coffee and tea. I love this stuff!

Have been using Bochasweet for several years. Tastes like sugar, great as a sugar substitute for baking or adding to coffee (2 tsp Bochasweet, 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder and splash of cashew milk).

Bochasweet granular is an exceptional sugar replacement. It measures spoon for spoon for sugar and has no glycemic impact. It tastes just like sugar with no funny aftertaste or digestive difficulties. A real win/win!

My brother is diabetes, so I made tiramisu as a dessert for him. Everyone who tasted it said they could not tell that it was made without real sugar! I was happy about that! I am prediabetic, and will be baking with this!

Bocha Sweet sugar substitute is probably the best of sugars that actually taste like sugar with no aftertaste. I have tried them all !! The only downside is that it has sugar alcohols which give me a problem of a pounding heart, not a-fib just the feeling that my heart is beating hard. They also give me a laxative and gas because if taken in high quantity they cause gastrointestinal problems such as abdominal pain and loose stolols. Sugar alcohols are slowly digested so they have more time to feed the bacteria in the gut which causes fermentations and produce gas and pulls extra water into the color and cause a laxative. Not many people have this problem with sugar alcohol's, so I use it sparingly in my coffee and baking. Other sugar substitutes just have that horrible aftertaste. You can spot sugar alcohols by "-ol" at the end of their names like sorbitol, xylitol, lactitol, mannito, erythritol and maltitol. The good about sugar alcohols is that they keep your blood sugars and insulin levels from spiking as they do with sugar. So, with all this said, its your choice to decide what you can tolerate. Use this product in moderation and you will probably be just fine.

I have been using Bochasweet for a few years now and use it on a daily basis. This is the only product I have found that it does not leave an aftertaste, where others do.
