“I purchased the McDavid Thermal Shoulder Wrap in the hope that it would provide the support that strapping was for a recently damaged AC joint. The support provided by the support was very good, and the simple Velcro strap adjustment gave me support that almost rivalled the tape strapping. On the negative side the underarm comfort is terrible. Either the sizing is not accurate, there is a design issue or the wrap was designed for a circus freak. The underarm scallop is nowhere near deep enough for the shoulder cuff position above. In my case my shoulder would have to be 3cm further down my arm. I measured my chest smack in the middle of medium (which I bought)but found the wrap bunched in the underarm and caused discomfort after wearing for more than 30 mins. I don't know if I could wear it for that long if I was active. Overall I'm still pretty happy though because for the periods I wore it the shoulder felt well supported and it suited the purpose for which I bought it.”
