What was the product used for? Keyboard Wrist Cushion
When I first saw the plastic parcel that had arrived, I knew this was not what I thought I had paid $46.97 for. Upon opening the plastic, I found the original packaging for the IMAK Wrist Cushion For Keyboard A10160, which had cardboard tears and bits of sticky tape, suggesting that it had been opened and probably returned, rather than it being damaged in the shipping process. When I looked up the item again on Body Heal's website, it was sold out, suggesting they probably only had one in-stock due to its unpopularity. This is because the material feels very fragile for something that you pay this much money for relative to other keyboard wrist supports on the market - a sharp object could easily tear it. Moreover, it feels like it is made out of the same material used in bean bags when I was expecting a more rubbery and elastic material. Returning it is not worth my time and trouble - plus Body Heal will take a $9 deduction for refunds. I will not be recommending Body Heal to anyone. It is better to try these sort of products in-store to assess their suitability.

Hi Daniel, Thank you for taking the time to review your purchase. I'm sorry to hear you weren't happy, as a small business we try our hardest to make sure all our customers are happy. I will address your concerns one point at a time, as some of them are inaccurate accusations that are harmful for us. 1. The keyboard wrist cushion rarely ever gets returned. I had to go through our records and the last return was August 2021. Since then we had sold out a few times. The product you received is brand new and not sure why sticky tape would indicate otherwise. It's common for new packages to be sticky taped, if you go to your local Rebel Sport store you'll see other brands also do the same. This particular brand (IMAK) gets shipped a bit uniquely from overseas. The product and packaging are shipped separate, since the packaging can be folded up so it doesn't take up as much space. Our supplier then folds out the packaging and inserts the product into it, so there is a manual process involved. Perhaps they sticky taped it to reinforce the box. 2. Damage during transit is very common, we ship in plastic satchels to try and pass every bit of savings to the consumer. As you can imagine, parcels are stacked on top of each other in the AusPost truck. Through surveys that our customers have taken over the years we have been lead to the conclusion that our customers would much rather get the product in a satchel at a cheaper price, even if it gets a bit squashed during transit. However we realize that for some the condition it arrives in is very important. Which is why we offer everyone to add swap a satchel for box packaging for $1.50. There's a tick-box in our cart page which every customer goes through before checking out. 3. Yes the wrist cushion isn't as popular as some of our other products. It's predominately a supplemental product for those that purchase wrist braces as the common reason is due to poor ergonomics. We keep 30 days worth of stock at a time as storage costs have drastically increased over the past 2 years. It's not feasible for us to keep 2-3 months worth of stock at a time. Products go out of stock in our store all the time, this isn't unique to us. Same issues are faced by Rebel Sport, The Iconic and even physical stores. Out of the recent batch that we brought in, you did purchase the last unit from that batch. Hence it was sold out after your order. We don't sell products that are not in stock unlike other retailers. 4. You're right, a sharp object could cut the wrist cushion. The outer layer is soft and thin with comfort in mind. In regards to the beads, yes this is known as ergo beads and it's been mentioned on the product listing a few times. It's something IMAK has developed and is quite popular. The same ergo beads are found in the IMAK eye pillow, IMAK mouse cushion and IMAK computer glove which are all much more popular than keyboard cushion. I wouldn't say our product page is misleading and does mention it has ergo beads. 5. Unfortunately postaging is expensive in Australia. So far we can offer free shipping and I see that you also took advantage of our free express post promotion. One day we would love to offer free returns but at the moment due to our size we can't. However we have been offering free exchanges as more than half our returns are for another product or size. The $9 deduction from your full refund is purely to accommodate return shipping cost which is still partially subsidized by us. Thanks, Body Heal
