Finish microscope plate eliminates reflections during observation. “I have a Nikon SMZ1000 microscope and a Nikon C-DSS115 stand, and I needed a 180mm x 6mm glass plate to replace a missing Nikon plate in the stand base. Nikon offers this plate, but it's somewhat expensive for what it is and takes a fairly long time to get, so I wanted to look for a high-quality alternative that would fit and perform just as well as the Nikon plate but that was less expensive and would arrive much sooner. A Google search led me to Boli Optics, and this item could be ordered for half of what Nikon charged and I could get it within a week. I have to say, I'm really impressed with the quality of this plate! The fit and finish are terrific, and it is every bit the equal of the Nikon plate, so I was quite happy to have found this item and to have found Boli Optics!”
