“The joint element, while the same shape as the broken one, is slightly larger and slightly wider than the original. However, it fit together very well with existing hardware ( the screw was too large for this lamp.) Given that the element is designed for heavier lamp and magnifier, this turned out to be ideal. It helped enormously to remove the triangular elements that held the joint and assemble them--elements, joint and lamp all connected and then attached to the arms. As long as no-one gets aggressive with the lamp, I expect to have it working for decades to come. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★”

“The "Joint, Knob and Screw for Magnifying Lamp" seems to be well made. Just be very careful when you order these parts because there are many, many versions of these for various lamps and they are not all interchangeable. The parts I ordered were smaller than the ones I really needed but I made them work. This was NOT the fault of Boli - I ordered the wrong part.”
