“Wonderful visit, our first time with our grand daughter, will definitely return, clean with plenty of toys and costumes,,, good little coffee bar and plenty of seating, the owner of the class Cara was absolutely lovely. A much needed group that is providing well for our young.”
“We’ve been attending the little city sessions for over a year now. We’ve always loved the sessions. We were intrigued to see how Little City would turn out at Scott’s Southend and I must admit it’s been really thought out. We’re very happy that babies now have a section too! This was something that was lacking at the other venues. It’s spacious, there’s more to do, more space for children to roam about in, and I like that it’s fenced off away from the cafe area. Cara always does a superb job of organising little city so what I am about to say is no reflection of her.
Unfortunately, the cafe area and the overall location of Little City is a bit disappointing. I feel like it’s been placed next to the toy section intentionally which is frustrating. However, this I suppose isn’t something that can be dictated. The cafe area gets really busy with queues that take a while for people to get served. This was never a problem in the other venues with Cara. I appreciate that Scott’s are doing their bit but the girls there need more help. Additionally, there isn’t enough space for people to sit down as they’re are groups of mums who are sitting all down for a chat. The thing that I love about the other venues is that no one really sits down! They all interact with their children, so I feel maybe I am comparing it to the other venues but it’s a bit frustrating when you’re trying to get a table with chairs and have to sit down on the kids table and chairs. It feels like you have to get to the front of the queue to get a table! I also think the priced for the food and drinks are ridiculous. £2.20 for a orange juice for a child is crazy and £4 for a cookie is even crazier.”

“It was our first visit to Little City and my grandchildren loved it. The place was spotlessly clean, the coffee and lunch boxes were served by a very helpful gentleman,Cara kept an eye on everything and obviously enjoyed her job. Can’t wait to look after the children again so we can go back.”

“The class was great, only thing I’d say is they should have property boxes there for people to put their stuff in as they put all their stuff on tables and chairs but no one was sitting at them and for the people who were waiting in the café, they couldn’t sit anywhere, maybe add some more chairs for additional adults to be able to sit, but for those who are going into the class but not using the café tables they should be able to put their stuff in a property box instead, lots of chairs for little ones but no little ones sitting on them LOL my son absolutely loves the role-play area and I give that five stars”
