“Everything was fine except I could not get one of the new pistons in. I tried swapping the pistons -- no luck. I tried using a different type of grease -- no luck. I tried reversing the outer wiper seal and the problem followed the seal. Next, I tried just lubing everything with DOT4 and finally got it to go in but when I pulled the piston out to check it, a small shaving of the outer wiper came off. It appears that the wiper was slightly too large but should work fine now. I have used these kits in the past with no problems so this seems like a manufacturing outlier.”
