“The Yamaha FJR is made to be loaded in the back, and is built from the ground up with more rear braking capacity than a sport bike. So, on initial braking, one is rewarded for excellent rear braking. It is advantageous to have all-out braking power in this position, setting up for a good finish with the front. The GoldFren S33 are just the ticket in that respect. While I use them in the front on sport bikes, they absolutely shine in the rear on this sport-touring application.”
