“Turned to Brassybra after another brand's 2 in strips didn't pass the test during fittings. I wanted to try the shaped adhesive bra instead of the tape to limit user error/poor application technique. I wear UK 30F and have soft tissue. I wore BrassyBra under my bridesmaid dress with a deep plunge keyhole in the front and crisscross spaghetti strap back. I probably could have gotten better lift if I wasn't in such a rush to get dressed and get back for pictures after getting my bride situated, but that was a user error. The wrinkles I had didn't show through my charmeuse dress. Brassybra didn't budge for 9 hours of running around and lots of dancing. I followed other users' reviews and used baby oil to soak into the adhesive bra for about 15 minutes before removing it. I didn't tear my skin, but probably could have waited a bit longer to further weaken the adhesive. I would repurchase.”
“I've tried so many backless bra options and this is the only one thats ever actually worked for me.. I am a 36 DD and brasy bra held me up and in place all night!!! my only disappointment is the shipping cost to Canada!!!”
“My breast have always been very large and in charge. I never thought an adhesive bar would work for me. Brassy bra did though. It held them up and stayed up alllllll day. It was a bit of a learning curve to place the tape just right but I did it. The only downside is taking it off. Even when I soaked it in coconut oil it still tore my skin a bit. Make sure you throughly cover it in oil and take your time removing it.”
“Brassybra is the single most brilliant creation in women's lingerie!! It's the first product I've ever purchased that does EVERYTHING it says it will do. Not only does it enable me to recreate my youthful breasts, it gives me a smooth back with no bra back bulges from bras! I think women would all agree that strapless bras are horrifying to wear no matter what your age is. I wish Brassybra had been created thirty years ago!”
“I ordered this bra for my upcoming wedding and it turned out to be so amazing! I tried it on prior on a really hot day and it stayed in place with sweat and all! It gave great support and was very comfortable I am excited to use it on my wedding day. It is very user-friendly and easy to put on and take off. 10/10 recommend and will be repurchasing.”
“Maybe there is a learning curve here, I have tried and makes the girls rectangle shaped tried to make a better appearance I also used the strips all in all an epic fail”
Hello Heather,
Thank you for your feedback. We're so sorry to hear you had adhesion issues with your Brassybra. There is a learning curve to using this product. Brassybra's adhesive is extremely strong, so when there's an issue with adhesion, it's very likely to be due to three common errors:
1. If there is even a trace amount of oil, moisturizing soap, or leftover lotion on the skin it can weaken the adhesive. Certain tanning creams have oil in them as well, which can be another hidden culprit. Brassybra needs to be applied on clean, dry skin, at least 30 minutes after showering. Perspiring while applying can also cause the product to peel down before it's had a chance to adhere.
2. Brassybra needs to be warmed up. We suggest at least 60 seconds of vigorously rubbing the product into the skin until it feels hot to the touch. It needs to be warm in order to adhere to your skin, and the adhesive needs to set for 30 minutes before you move around/sweat/swim, etc...
3. The first adhesion is the best adhesion: so if you apply the product, but then lift it again to re-stick it, it can affect the adhesive. If you must lift it and reapply, you can always reactivate it by using a hot blow dryer and rubbing vigorously to warm up the skin/adhesive. Brassybra is heat-activated, so anything you can do to warm it up will help with any issues that can arise while one is learning to use it.
