“I did much research on this ring, and especially on the diamond. It finally arrived and it was PERFECT. Since I was ordering it online, I was so worried it wouldn't live up to my expectations, but it EXCEEDED them!!
The only problem was, as others have mentioned, it was a bit loose for my chosen ring size - I had to have it resized at a local jeweler. The local jeweler didn't believe it was a real diamond, she said it was too sparkly and looked like a cubic zirconia. I was bit offended, but she had to eat her own words when her diamond tester proved her wrong!!
I chose a round .45 carat diamond, and it was the PERFECT size for the ring setting. I've seen pictures where the diamond either looked too small or too large for the setting, so I'd definitely suggest that you do your research and make sure your diamond is adequately paired.
I chose the diamond from Russia, where both our families reign from. Everyone is taken aback by its beauty, and everyone is itching to know where I got it from. When I tell them it is ethically and sustainably made, they are even more interested about Brilliant Earth. They say that the ring and where it came from is so "me".
I am so proud of our purchase. My fiance admitted that he was a bit apprehensive about the price initially, but said it was totally worth it once he saw it on my finger. We bought the whole wedding set. We love the box as well. It's so much classier than those run-of-the-mill black velvet boxes everyone else gets. I truly feel like royalty with this whole experience. All of the many hours I spent researching this ring was absolutely worth it. Thank you Brilliant Earth for providing options for a picky girl like me!!!!”
