I wasn't sure how the ring will honestly look or how much it would sparkle; considering I knew she wanted a princess cut diamond. I did go for the best cut they had rather than the size and color. Color G was selected but with brilliant cut (1.01 carat). It was VERY worth the purchase. Princess cut I was reading doesn't produce the brilliance of a regular round but knew this going in. I was amazed how much it sparkles with not a lot of light.
