“I ordered a Comfort Fit 6mm Wedding Ring in platinum in one of the Brilliant Earth stores in June 2024. When I picked up the ring at that store in July 2024, the ring I received seemed quite a bit thinner (i.e., it seemed to have a lower dome) than what I had been expecting based on a sample Comfort Fit ring I had seen in the store and the photos that were on the website when I made the purchase. The ring I received seemed so much thinner that I asked the person at the store who was helping me whether I might have mistakenly been sent a Slim Profile 6mm Wedding Ring by mistake. I was told that Brilliant Earth had recently changed the mold they used for the Comfort Fit 6mm Wedding Ring. There were no other Comfort Fit 6mm Wedding Rings in the store for me to see, but they had both a Comfort Fit Wedding Ring and a Slim Profile Wedding Ring in a smaller size and in a smaller width (I think they both were 5 mm rather than 6mm). The dome on the ring I had received was lower than the domes on *both* the Comfort Fit and Slim Profile sample rings they had in the store. The dome of the ring I received is rather flat. The edge has less roundness and thickness to it than I was expecting. I assume the ring has less metal in it than the pervious versions of the same ring. The quality of the ring is fine, and it is comfortable to wear. The wedding was fantastic, and my wife is amazing.”
