“I love the style of the ring, it goes perfectly with my engagement ring in the Aria setting. Also shipping was very fast. However, when my Luna wedding band came in and I tried it on, I immediately noticed that the 18K gold color was much different than the color of my 18K gold engagement ring. I'm almost positive the band was 14K gold (even though it says 18K gold inside) - it had that warmer tone / less bright yellow color. I pointed this out to my Brilliant Earth consultant, and he said that sometimes the gold lots will differ in color, even though they're both 18K gold (which doesn't make sense to me) and he suggested I mail in both rings so they could try to find a Luna wedding band that would match the color of my engagement ring. More than three weeks go by without an update. When I reach out asking for an update, the consultant tells me they aren't going to be able to match the color. I told them to reset my engagement ring in 14K gold and place a new order for the Luna in 14K gold as well but the consultant hasn't called us back. It's upsetting because I didn't have my engagement ring on hand at my bachelorette party nor my bridal shower (it took over 3 weeks just to tell me they couldn't do anything?) and at this point I'm hoping I just get my rings in time for my wedding. So anyway, this probably isn't an issue if you are ordering white gold since it is dipped so the colors should all likely be the same. But I'm disappointed because I've referred Brilliant Earth to 2 friends who both bought engagement rings from here after me but based on this experience I would no longer recommend them to my friends or at least would warn them to order their engagement and wedding rings at the same time.”
