BOB KIDS SPF 30 Brush On Mineral Sunscreen Reviews

It's initially hard to tell which way is open/closed, and the powder does not come out easily. I am having a hard time knowing whether the powder is coming out of the brush. I hope that as I continue to test it that it is more obvious that the product is coming out and being applied.

Be sure to turn the brush into the OPEN position before you flicked it. The blue portion of the brush with the writing on it clicks to the left to open the brush and to the right to close. This helps prevent leakage and accidental spills. If you have done that, then the best way to see the powder is being applied is to start with the back of one of your hands. Buff the powder on your hand, just as you would on ½ of your child’s face (about 15 seconds, or two verses of Baby Shark and in a circular motion). After doing this, compare the back of your hand to your other hand. You will be able to see the difference, that means the powder is there.Be sure to reapply at least every two hours when your child is in the sun! Here's a short video demonstrating: https://youtu.be/CGf3DG0YICk I hope this helps, but if you still need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us at customerservice@brushatblock.com.

This sunscreen has been amazing!! It is very easy to apply and I love that it's easy to get on to my 15 month old's whispy hairline. I will absolutely be purchasing this again!!! My only critique is that there are no refills for the kid version. I'll likely just use the adult version for the whole family!!

My kids love it and want to put it on instead of fighting me to use sunblock!

My son (7) actually looks forward to sunscreen application now! (To his face anyway) He loves the soft brush and the fact that the product isn’t slimy or sticky - just soft like powder. I use on Facebook , ears, and back of his neck above his rash guard.

Love the concept, but don’t like that my daughter and I can’t tell if the sunscreen in being applied or not. Seems like a recipe for a sunburn

Thank you for the feedback. Your concern is fairly common, and especially with children, as their skin is so smooth and perfect, it can be very hard to see the powder. Be sure to turn the brush into the OPEN position before you flicked it. The blue portion of the brush with the writing on it clicks to the left to open the brush and to the right to close. I've only used this a few times, but it was super easy to apply and one of the times, my 1yo son didn't get a burn on his (very blonde, white) head, which was in the sun for about 25 minutes. Like it so far!
