An excellent addition to an iPad! It turns it into a very useable “laptop computer”! The key layout and design is very similar to my MacBook Pro, which makes the back and forth transitions much more fluid. After using it, the on-screen keyboards seems medieval!

Sent back the cheaper Amazon "recommended" keyboard and bought the Brydge for my new iPad. Worth every penny...solid build and worked first time out of the box!!!

Outstanding initial purchase and use experience. My 2nd purchase for 2nd IPad. I only wish I purchased these much sooner. They turn your tablet into a mini laptop!

I like the touch of the keyboard as well as the background lighting. Love the fact that the iPad now looks like a laptop. What I do not like is the weight of the keyboard, it seems a little heavy. I also do not like the fact that the iPad on/off button is on the right hand side. It is the only way the IPad can be inserted. That is an Apple issue as well as an issue for those of us who are left handed. Over all, I do like the product highly recommend it. I tried several othe brands and Brydge is the best by far

Usually my iPad is for my glass top desk at home, but traveling occasionally there is no need for a bulky leather covering. The hinges make traveling with my new keyboard a breeze. Also my former iPad kept collapsing on my keyboard. This is no longer true! Love my new Brydge!

I’m a college student so I do a LOT of typing and I use my Brydge all the time for my iPad 9.7 (not the pro). Now, having said that I would like to do a review of heavy use after almost a full year of using my Brydge. I love the look of this keyboard more than any of the ones I’ve seen on the market through Zagg and Amazon. It looks like an Apple MacBook and has the smooth sleek look of an Apple product. I also like the versatility of the Brydge. You can remove the iPad from the hinges to use it like a regular tablet and then slide it back in to make it a portable “laptop” version. One issue I had with the versatility function was the rubber insert tends to bend and slide and mine has torn from use. The rubber keeps it from sliding and the hinges are so sturdy I never have a problem with my tablet moving around while in the hinges unless I specifically move it but the rubber sliding and ripping isnt great...The rubber feet on the bottom of the keyboard to keep it from sliding around on smooth surfaces have also peeled off and were just stuck on with what seems to be generic adhesive gel. So the make and model is fantastic but some of the rubber components are a little frustrating. Now as far as the keys on the keyboard themselves they are backlit and you can choose the brightness level, they have functionality keys that make it even easier to use your Apple product, and they are nice to type on. The only issue Ive had is that I have to press down rather hard on some of the keys to get them to produce the letter, number, or symbol I need. My right shift key needs to be held down in a certain corner to even work so I’ve just taken to using the left shift key...kinda annoying but not unbearable. The battery life is really wonderful and Ive only needed to charge it like three times in a whole year just be sure you know where you left your cable! Overall, this is a good keyboard with a few moderate problems that gives you the look and feel of an Apple product. However, I would prefer a different keyboard because the price should guarantee perfection but falls just short of that.

This is a nice keyboard. The lighted keys make it easy to use in low light and it turns on automatically. I’ve had it about a month now and like the key function, the size and placement of the shift keys, and the ease of use. The ipad disconnects quickly and is easy to reconnect. It has multiple angles and can be placed in just the right position for whatever your needs are. It does have a slight delay when starting, and it’s a bit heavier than my last keyboard. I tried 3 others that I ended up returning. This one ended up being the best option for my uses.
