“too much latency in the keystrokes to actually seeing it realized on the ipad screen, i guess that is why you should not use bluetooth for keystroke input devices or maybe it is a design flaw with the actuation of the keystroke in the downward motion.”

“Only works via Bluetooth and you have to use a different charging cable than what the iPad uses. Would be a great keyboard if it could connect to the iPad via a lighting cable to both charge the keyboard and to use with the iPad. For our users Bluetooth keyboards are confusing and hard to setup and they always forget to charge them so they just call in complaining it doesn't work. Then they have to find a cable completely different from how they charge the iPad in order to charge the keyboard. This would be an amazing keyboard by just adding a lightning cable to it like several other keyboards are now doing.”

“I have invested lots of money in keypads before finding Brydge. The keys are a good size and placement is closest to a full size keyboard that i have been able to find. My search is over....the only and last keyboard for me.”

“First of all, I would like to say that this is a high-quality product that closely matches the the look an feel of the iPad. I am particularly impressed with the feel and action of the hinges, that are better than many laptops. I find that when I am mostly browsing, or reading on my lap, it is great to have the choice of the onscreen keyboard (with a hardware button to pull it up) or the hardware keyboard, as well as all the other buttons on the top row. The layout of the keyboard itself (on a 9.7 model) takes a bit of getting used to, but after a couple of weeks, I am mostly up to my usual laptop speed. The main disappointment is that the keys really need to be thumped to operate. I find if I try to use it on my lap, I often don’t hit them hard enough, bu using it on a table is less of an issue. I’m not sure if the keys will loosen with age - maybe this has started to happen, or maybe I have just got used to thumping. When I bought it, I thought I would only use it part time, pulling out the iPad to use it for lap browsing, and putting it in to type longer pieces. However, since I first put it in, it has not come out - so that is recommendation.”

“really secure fit. sturdy hinge.. and one hidden gem, when you start typing which wakes up the keyboard, unlike some other keyboards, it remembers the first couple of characters you typed, yes!!! .. a real valuable feature”
