“I've had this keyboard for only about a week now, so it's way too early to determine if it will last. I've had two keyboards fail after about six months of use, so I will reserve a star until I can make a detemination about longevity. Assuming that it has lasting power, I love the keyboard. It has a top quality appearance and feel, the keys are solid with good touch, and my IPad Air original fit firmly with the keyboard once I replaced the plastic pads. It's somewhat more of a small laptop now and a bit heavy, but it meets my needs. I really like that it combines the laptop style with the touchscreen function, and the bluetooth connection works flawlessly. I can opt for either the built in Ipad keyboard or the Brydge keyboard simply by beginning to type on one or the other. Hopefully I won't experience the same problems that I've experienced wih other keyboard over time, such as connection problems, keys repeating a letter with a single touch of the key on the keyboard, and keys not responding at all. Only time will tell. One suggestion that I have is to ship the product with both sets of plastic pads unattached. I had to replace the pads in order to attach the pads for the Air one IPad, and it was tedious trying to scrape off the glue residue from the pair that was attached at the factory.”

“This is a great keyboard. Very solid and makes my iPad work pretty close to a laptop. I use if for blogging. Only suggestion is to allow the user to set a duration of when the keyboard backlight turns off...in my opinion it turns off too quickly. Customer service is great too.”

“I’ve been using Zagg Slimbook Folio keyboard for the last couple of years and kept having to ask for a replacement every year because the magnetic closures would always crack and every time I opened up my unfolded my keyboard, my IPad would pop out. That’s why I decided to get Brydge’s. Granted I’ve only had it for a week, so it’s hard to say whether I will encounter the same problem. But from what I can see...just from the design alone...that my problem may now be solved.”

“The two clips do seem to cover up some of the areas of typical control in many iPad applications, but there is probably nothing much that can be done about this and still keep the keyboard of an appropriate size. Otherwise, a great product.”

“I love this keyboard when it's working. Seems that many of these have the same issue and that is the keys start typing random letters and numbers. I sent my back in and Brydge said there was moisture which caused the problem. I know I did not spill anything on the keyboard. Brydge was good and still replaced the keyboard for me. My only worry is that the replacement keyboard is going to fail within 6 months just as the first one. For the cost of this keyboard it should be more durable. If you look at reviews, 90% of the keyboards had the same issue as mine.”
