“I just received this and was slightly concerned on it. Those concerns were put to rest as soon as i slid my new Pro 9.7 in. It was sturdy in the clips, i can use teh touch screen with very little give to the tilt of the iPad. Its like a mini mac, with the simplicity of the iPad. The speakers are nothing now that the pro has 4 speakers. Where I think the engineering lacks ever so slightly is that most of the time, the iPad is in the holders to work as a laptop (vs in a tablet mode and flipped the other way around), therefore the charging port could have been placed on the right side of the keyboard so when charging both devices, they are both on teh same side. Granted, yes - the battery should last a long time, but it was a slight cumbersome thing to have cables wrapped all around when charging the ipad and they keyboard. The other item is the rubber feet/pads. When closed, these pads hold the iPad firmly in place on the desk/surface. It doesn't slide much. However, as soon as you prop the iPad open to anything more than 90 degrees (and lets face it, you will never use it in 980 degree angle), the pads no longer make contact with the desk/surface. At minimum, the front pads could have been slid up a little to still grasp the surface. The rear will never make contact the way the hinge system works. Which is no fault, as the hinge system slightly lifts the keyboard to be at a slant, which I appreciate. (a minor issue - under the tabs/holders of the iPad, it was shipped with some plastic protectors. I just peeled these off now, and there was a sticky residue left. Now I need to rub this off - a slight irritable item) Again, great product - and was ecstatic to show it around the office. The back-lit keyboard is what I need as a hunt and peck typer. Let the meetings begin!!”

“It looks great, and I love the hinges. I am disappointed that my keyboard did not come with the built in speakers. All the review videos I saw of this keyboard all showed it had built in speakers.”
