In the past few years, I've purchased several keyboards for my IPad's. They fell apart or just stopped working. Basically, they were junk. My friend convinced me I would love the Brydge and I do! I took a chance without having seen it and am glad I did. This is by far the best I've used. It is beautiful, durable, works perfectly and holds it's charge for days. It's expensive but if I had purchased this first, I would have saved a lot of money!

It's compact, looks nice, and the back lit keys come in handy. The speakers are great in concept, but terrible to listen to, hence i don't trun them on. The u clips makes it look like an after thought and cannot go 360 degrees. The difference between the ipad air and ipad air 2 keyboards are the they give you thicker silicon pads and tell you to pinch the u clips together. The little bluetooth snych buttons on the front are in a bad location as if you press the keyboard against your body, lap, etc. there are activated. Also the keyboard doesn't come with anything to protect your ipad. it's a separate purchase item that is expensive and doesn't hold up. Mine broke in three places and I never dropped. The area where the charging cable plugs in and the area where you turn it on and off. Another keyboard to conside is the ClamCase. I have both the Brydge Air and Clam Case keyboards. The clamcase is a better deal as it comes with an integrated protective cover at no extra fee and the cover can rotate 360 degrees. The cons to the clamcase are that it's slighty wider (it's nice for key spacing) and it doesn't have back lit keys. I didn't consider lack of speakers as a negative since the Brydge Air integreated speakers are subpar and not worth turning on. the weight of each keyboard are approximately the same, thus it's negligible.
