Finally decided to try this product after this very generous (50%) discount was applied. I;ve had the product for a couple of weeks, and just plain love it. The key travel is just a delight, and far superior to the prior generation macbook and MBP laptop lines. I has actually helped me decide to switch to the iPad as a full time mobile computing solution, and cannot wait to try the new Pro+ kb, and the stand alone trackpad.

The keyboard seems well-designed and -built. Charging and pairing with my iPad was easy. It was easier to modify the iPad holders than I expected, thank goodness. One suggestion I have would be to label the included shims ‘left’ and ‘right’ (I’m a techno-kluge and almost installed them the reverse). Another nit-pick... The Velcro wrap the charging cord should be affixed to the cord at one end; otherwise it’ll surely be the first thing to get lost. The keys have a decent amount of travel and good mechanical feel. I’m still adapting from my older, now-defunct keyboard in terms of error rate but am sure that’ll come along. These are just my initial observations after a bit less than a week of using the Brydge keyboard. Overall I am ver satisfied with it.

It has a great design, color match, light and the battery for the keyboard last long time. If you have templed glass for the screen protector it won’t fit very well, it broke mine and since then I haven't used screen protector, not a big deal because the screen is inside. Light weight, it is lighter than the iPad.

Would be a 5/5 if it came with a skin for the iPad and was designed to charge using a lightning connector instead of micro USB. I had a ZAGG keyboard that I absolutely loved, however, the hinge cracked only after a few months of use. I liked typing on that keyboard only slightly better, however everything else about this keyboard is better, it is lighter, the backlighting of the keys is better, and currently I’d say that the hinge design is better (as long as it stands the test of time). The battery doesn’t last as long as my previous keyboard, but the unit is noticeably lighter, and the keyboard battery life is very good, especially considering I keep the backlighting on low all of the time. One thing I would really like is the addition to read an SD Card, or some other type of memory device, and interface to my iPad. One other recommendation I have, is for the overall feel of the keys themselves, and some far I’ve not had any issues with them, however, in paying a premium for this keyboard, I did expect the keys and the typing feel, to be better than anything else on the market.

My only issue is the iPad sides back and forth in the holders
