I had the Ipad 9.7 inch and got the keyboard for it which is still working great. No complaints. But this keyboard for the newer Ipad has smaller clips that A) do not hold the ipad at certain angles and B) have broken off twice. To be fair reason B is because I work on construction site, but still noticeably less sturdy then the other keyboards. Hopefully the new style fixes this issue

This keyboard is built like a laptop with excellent key feedback and backlit. My iPad Pro-11 inch fits perfect and all features of this product works very well; like advertised.

The Brydge is undoubtedly the best keyboard I have used with a table, by far. It is completely in a different class to any other. Richard Naismith

Great product! Just got it today, and compared it against the Gold and Cherry version I bought. This is a night and day difference in the solid feel. Besides the rich feature set, the small things like bumper protection for the screen, left and right below the keyboard, the rubber feet. I love the magnetic cover as it adds significant grip while carrying (VERY important to me). Only downside is added weight but not really an issue when the experience is this good. The Gold and Cherry is going back. I might hang onto the Apple Smart for when I really want a truly light/thin option (traveling). Great product here! Definitely recommend.

The weight is not an issue. Actually, it helps to keep the keyboard and iPad ground when typing. The only issues I've had so far are a swipe up from the bottom of the screen to close apps doesn't always work as the design doesn't easily allow my finger to get low enough on the screen to begin the swipe. I've also found that the first few characters of my typing are not recorded when first opening an app like Drafts. Seems as if the paring of the keyboard and iPad is not automatic. This is frustrating especially in Drafts that I use to capture/commit thoughts on the fly to text.

While the Brydge iPad Pro 11 looks aesthetically amazing. Here are a few things to consider. 1) Your thin iPad Pro becomes extremely heavy and adds little protection 2) The aluminum color begins to wear easily 3) After less than 3 months with light use one hinge has fallen off and the screen often falls flat while typing on my lap. Net net ... it’s great idea but iPads are tablets and the desire to turn an iPad into a laptop just seems forced. Buy a small laptop if you’re looking for laptop functionality.

Just purchased my iPad Pro 11 on October 1, 2019 and immediately went looking for a keyboard other than one supplied by Apple. Had used ClamCase before with iPad Air 2 and previous models. Did a web search on keyboards for iPad Pro 11 and Brydge Keyboard Pro popped up. After a bit of research I made the best decision ever when I purchased the Brydge Keyboard for iPad Pro 11. IMO it’s fantastic. The aluminum body is very nice and cool to the touch. The docking hinges are very stable and I don’t feel any flex in my iPad Pro 11 body when opening or closing it. I really like the looks and it makes my iPad Pro fit quite well aesthetically with my MBP 13 and 15 inch model. Heck, I still have an old MBP 17 inch. Getting back to the Brydge...I really like the detachable leather-like protector for the back of the iPad. It really presents a quality look when the iPad Pro 11 is closed. I’m not the best typist anyway so the knock about key travel by some users is of no consequence to me. Besides it’s a personal preference. The only critique regarding typing is there’s a registry delay with the first typed letter if the keyboard has been idle for a period of time. Just something you need to be aware of. The only wish would e to have a 360 degree rotation to accommodate movie and drawing mode without removing the iPad Pro 11 from the docking clamps. Not a deal breaker for me. I’m typing this review using the Brydge Keyboard for iPad Pro 11. BTW...The new iPadOS makes using the Brydge even more enjoyable as you can now pair a BT mouse your iPad. Bottomline other than the smaller keyboard footprint compared to my MBP’s using the Brydge with my iPad Po 11 is like using a full pledged MacBook. Oh...I chose the Space Gray model to match my iPad Pro 11. One more point....if you have butter-fingers there are plenty of form fitting padded cases that will provided an added measure of protection for your iPad Pro 11 as well as the Bridge Pro 11 Keyboard. Highly recommend that the Brydge Pro Keyboard for iPad Pro 11 (or 12) should be on your short list for consideration.
