“I preordered my case/keyboard for my 2018 12.9” iPad Pro and waited anxiously. When it arrived the hinges were a huge problem. They each (2) have 3 main areas with adhesive - and these pieces are supposed to fit on the frames for the hinges. How is this EVER going to work? If it sticks at all it will stick on two places and not all three - then the iPad WON’T fully fit into the frame - AND - the hinge is so tight pliers have to be used to move the hinges. Come on BRYDGE. I didn’t spend $170.00 to do assembly!!! That’s your job!! The brand new Brydge case and keyboard are now decorating my closet shelf. It’s way easier to use a leather case & an Apple keyboard - even if it isn’t as pretty J. Karnis”

“The only downside for me is when the Bluetooth goes to sleep after non-use and it takes a couple of seconds for it to reconnect. Much better than the previous generation. Otherwise, I like the feel of the keys and the size of the keyboard.”

“Love the look and feel of the case - not SO impressed with the keys (wish it was more like my magic keyboard), but the main issue is that itâ€™s too fiddly to go from typing to handwriting (and iPad mode)...sorry...just too scared taking my iPad out and in to do this...and I need to be able to type (yes) but I also need to be able to scribble... What WOULD have been a better idea, is if the case allowed the keyboard to fold right under the iPad (without the need to remove and insert back in reverse)...”

“I had a very poor experience with not only the product but also the customer support. I was excited about this product until I actually started to use it... the failure point is the hinges. Within two weeks the left hinge broke off completely and the rubber on both of the hinges began to dislodge. I’m fortunate that the exposed metal didn’t damage my iPad Pro. Also, I wasn’t aware of this when I bought the product, but Brydge doesn’t support any third party screen protectors. I used a Paperly screen protector and within a few days it began to curl up on the edges and was irreparably damaged. A waste of $30. I used this product very responsibly. I purchased the Brydge leather Folio separately from Amazon and used it every time the iPad was not in active use. When transporting it I was doubly safety conscious and placed the iPad in the case and the case in a padded laptop sleeve that is built into my backpack. The damage that occurred was DEFINITELY not the result of mishandling. I estimate that I removed and replaced the iPad from the hinges less than 20 times before it failed. My customer service experience has been unacceptably bad. I emailed them twice within two weeks of my purchase and detailed what had happened and requested a return. I asked for a RMA and return shipping label for the Brydge Pro as well as the Brydge screen protector that I never ended up using. I got neither. It took an entire week and the response I got simply said “Brydge does not support third party screen protectors”. Don’t buy from this company. The keyboard itself is great but the hinge is awful and the customer support is worse.”
