Just a terrific product from a terrific company. I bought my husband one, and several of my friends, passengers on airlines who spotted it, and fellow journalists. A must for anyone who wants to labor the keys with lots of writing. My battery (self charges) lasts up to 4 days. I use it A LOT>

Keys have a nice stroke and rebound. It works well, is well-built and feels sturdy. The only thing that I have trouble with, and it’s minor, it it is slow to wake up when I start typing; it miss about the first two letters and gave to go back and make the correction. There might be something Im missing. Overall, it’s a very nice setup, the best I tried!

The only reason I did not give this 5 stars, is because it arrived with a defect. The space bar did not work properly. I notified Brydge and they had me ship it back for repair under the warranty. A little perplexed as to why it was not replaced with a new one, but never the less, they did repair it and sent it back quickly. The bluetooth is a PLUS for this keyboard. I have tried Apple smart keyboard (which is not very smart at all) and Logitech’s keyboard as well. They were both not good, because they connected directly to the iPad, and it would always pop off. Apple’s smart keyboard only worked part of the time, and Logitech could not keep up with software updates from Apple, basically rendering the iPad unusable if it were connected to the keyboard. The Brydge keyboard is perfect, and I now have the best of both worlds with an iPad Pro that doubles as a laptop with this keyboard. Get this keyboard, you will not be sorry.

Got so nercous as It did not arrive untill Christmas eve. My daughter ordered a case for it and after three weeks and 3 notices from your company saying it will be ther in "1 week" she cancelled the order. I think she wants to return the item because she cannot get a case for it easily and is afraid of damaging it. Its a same your companies reputation would be tarnish bc of shipping delays. Best I have tried. Bluetooth doesn’t instantly connect but the delay isn’t bad. Responsive and comfortable. Need to purchase the back plate that is now available. Great battery life.

...the logitech keyboard folio (this wraps around to my Brydge review, I promise, but logitech removed my review from the logitech website an hour after leaving it) on the apple website and that everyone keeps recommending all over the internet is fatally flawed in three ways that make no sense: 1 - there are no bumbers between the keyboad and the screen of your ipad. Because of this, my ipad pro now has a permanent streak across the screen. Thanks logitech. 2. The folio case design makes it almost impossible to take your ipad out of it. The first time I tried (because it was damaging my screen) it was so difficult that a piece of the corner of the case broke off when I tried. After that, I put it back on and it never fit properly again. 3. It cost $100+. The Brydge case, however, has none of the flaws. Sure, it probably costs more, but it is totally worth it. Positive: - It’s weighted perfectly to match the weight of the ipad (maybe not intentional) - Aluminum material - Bumpers on the corners add cushion between my screen and the keyboard - Backlit - Perfectly matches my gray ipad color! One negative (sort of): - Why would it not use the smart connector???WHY??? - The bumpers on the corners are slightly too small. My ipad pro screen seemed to hit the keyboard when I closed it or if there was pressure on it. Easily solver by using tiny pieces of cushioned tape but I shouldn’t have had to do that.

This unit, while pricey, is the best on the market for iPad. Comparing the reviews to the OEM Apple keyboard, this keyboard fared much better. Yes, you can pay less but I wanted something that works - and this unit does. The aluminum casing matches perfectly to the iPad. The Brydge protective cover (purchased separately) fits perfectly onto the iPad and covers the keyboard hinges for a high quality finished looking product.
