Great design and execution. I really like the backlit keyboard. Some sort of pencil storage would be cool, but would have to change the design which is real nice and clean so no biggie there. The only place it appears a corner was cut are the non-beveled edges that WEREN'T cut! This makes the top edge of the keyboard very sharp feeling but I haven't actually cut myself on it. I'm very happy with the purchase and have no buyers remorse and that's my normal gauge so...thank you! Well done!

The keyboard is everything we have come to expect and is very well made. I have a concern however, which in my opinion is a significant concern...based on the added weigt of the iPad Pro 12.9 the hinge is not stiff at all, in fact the iPad has a tendancy to fall open or fall closed if it not sitting straight up at 90 degrees. This is disturbing since it is brand new. If it gets worse the keybpaard will be unusable.

I have been buying Brydge keyboards since they launched their first one on Kickstarter. I have always been impressed with the quality and how much their keyboards compliment the design of the iPads themselves. That being said I am not as happy with the 12.9. It is still a good keyboard. I like the backlit keys and the key sensitivity. However, the hinge does not seem to compare with earlier models. Once I open my iPad passed about 55 degrees the iPad just falls open like there is not enough resistance to keep it upright. I imagine this was a hard issue to tackle given the pros size but it ruins the interaction for me in several scenarios. Also, the way the company handled the preorders sort of butchered my experience before I even had the keyboard in my hand. Waiting on something I was supposed to get by May only to finally have it arrive mid august was a deal breaker for me to the point where I don't know if I will further purchase any more products

The keyboard is okay, not worth $189 in my opinion. It doesn't stay attached well to my iPad and offers no protection to the iPad. It's an interesting idea to design the keyboard colors to match up so it will look as if you have a laptop. Maybe it's me ... I'm just not 'wowing' it like most reviewers. I like my Logi-tech cover ' keyboard much better.

I was super excited to receive my Bridge 12.9 because I fell in love with my Brydge Air for my iPad Air 2. I really like that the bluetooth and power buttons are now integrated with the keyboard. After using this for a few weeks, I have come up with some pros and cons: Pros: -Perfect fit with the iPad Pro 12.9 -Full size keyboard is super comfortable -Keys have a good tactile feel -Backlighting is a plus (though somewhat dim compared to the Brydge Air) Cons: -Very loose hinges. I am hoping this is just an issue with mine. My other Brydge keyboard has really solid hinges so I was really disappointed when I touched my screen and the iPad fell backwards flat on the table. I was even more disappointed when my $1000 iPad had a knick on the back after it fell and landed on my pen. -The edges are kind of sharp and the upper panel doesn't seem to meet up flush and hangs over just a hair. It's not much, but I can feel it. It feels like an unfinished metal edge. -The color isn't a perfect match. Not really a big deal, but noticeable under a lamp or other types of lighting. -Space bar is super clicky and loud when typing. My boss actually said it was distracting in our meetings. Needless to say, I was somewhat embarrassed. The other keys seem to be fine, but the space bar has a loud hollow sound to it. I'm sad to say that I actually put my iPad back into the Apple Smart Keyboard Case because of the loose hinges and the loud space bar. I want to love it, but it just isn't living up to the quality I have in my Brydge Air. *Disclaimer* I have not contacted Brydge about my issues, but hope I can get something worked out. I just know it will probably take months to get a replacement, if they even do that.

Back when I had an iPad Retina Display, I had a Clamcase Keyboard. I absolutely loved it. My iPad felt secure inside (it actually was hard getting it out), it protected the back of the iPad and it was stiff enough I could tilt it at virtually any angle. And lastly, it was solid. It felt substantial. It was truly the best iPad keyboard on the market. When I upgraded to the iPad 12.9, I was disappointed with the keyboards that were available at launch. The Apple one was horrible and the Logitech one just felt really flimsy. I was longing for the same quality keyboard I had with the Clamcase. I kept checking their website and there was no indication they were going to make one for the 12.9. I just about gave up hope. Then I see a Facebook ad for Brydge and I get excited. I read the reviews and I even get more excited. I preorder it (like many of us did) and then I got disappointed. I read about the manufacturing delays. But I get it, demand was high and I had to wait. All good. So MONTHS pass and I finally get my Brydge keyboard. I'm super excited. I have my iPad Pro ready to go. When I go to open it, I'm immediately disappointed. First, I feel how flimsy it is. And then I see there is no backing on it. No back cover? WTF? So I have no choice but to have my iPad Pro back exposed? And I'm instructed to "press down" on the clamps that hold the iPad to secure it? But after opening and closing the iPad from the keyboard, I find myself constantly realigning the iPad with the keyboard. And there is really one viewing angle for the iPad Pro with the Brydge keyboard. Any deviation and the iPad starts to fall back or forward. I think Brydge should've taken some ideas from Clamcase. The only thing that I like about the Brydge is how thin it is (which would probably explain the "no back protection") but I would've rather had a little bit more weight and thickness knowing my iPad was protected all over. Sadly, I have no choice but to use the Brydge as it is the only decent option for the 12.9.
