I absolutely love my new keyboard. The keyboard is so comfortable to type on and it is accurate. The keyboard also lights up when activated. With the iPad attached it is has some good weight to it. It feels very durable. It gives my iPad the look and feel of a laptop.

Opinions.... everyone has one. Never though to turn my iPad pro into a small laptop, with the new brydge design, I enjoy using my iPad as a apple version of a surface tablet. Sleep mode is great even of 2 days of inactivity touch the space bar an she's alive. I have typed up a few documents an maintain a server, an I love the build quality of this keyboard. Pros ... Usability is there Easy startup an consistent use Excellent battery life (full 24 hour charge an 4 weeks later it's still going moderate use) Tactile feed back from the keys Cons... Hinge open requires 2 hands a bit tight Slightly bulky more of a MacBook pro feel than a MacBook air. Not so much a pro or con but it's a bit chunky, an the more I used this setup I can understand as to why the weight is there in the keyboard itself. I have the 1tb 11" iPad pro 2020 version an it's pretty stout. So as to hinge open on a keyboard setup if the base section didn't have the weight then it would consistently flip back. So can appreciate Brydge covering all the avenues to make this a enjoyable experience. I enjoy this to the point I'm going to upgrade to the 12" iPad pro an the larger keyboard an my wife wants my current 11" setup.

Your iPad easily attaches magnetically to the case, but holds very securely. My favorite feature is the row of special function keys for controlling things like brightness, volume, locking the iPad, and getting to the home screen. The battery lasts a long time and the battery percentage shows in the battery widget on your iPad.

Construction and build quality is superb, which is the one of the more alluring aspects over other third party bluetooth keyboards. The trackpad and gestures complete the experience of turning your iPad into a MacBook-like laptop. The biggest advantage over the previous brydge keyboard is the magnetic snap fit case which rivals the ease of use of taking your iPad off with Apple's own keyboards. However, with positives also comes with negatives. When the keyboard and iPad are together and closed, opening it up is a struggle. In fact, it is a step down from the previous model because the previous model has an indent on the edge so that you can easily lift the iPad open, which the current model is flush making you rely on the lips on the side of the snap fit case and just makes the entire operation of opening it awkward. Speaking of step downs, the back lighting leaves a lot to be desired. When looking at any angle below 90, the lighting is unpleasant to look at which is probably why the brightness settings of the keyboard aren't that good either. This could have been solved if the lights were just front facing towards the iPad or if they had changed the design of the keyboard keys instead.

I really like the feel of the keyboard and my ability to speed type on it. Used Apple keyboard prior to this and have had to cope with 2 failed keyboards over the life of the iPad. Definitely a better choice overall. Have had a few instances where the keyboard and iPad acted like they had minds of their own. When that happens turning off the keyboard power and powering back up solves the disconnect. Overall this becomes a heft package (significantly heavier than iPad and Apple keyboard) but the weight gives things a very solid feel. Recommended for all who need to do more than a few letters of typing on their iPad.

The Keyboard is nice. But once in a while it becoemes unresponsive. To fix it I have to turn Off-On the Bluetooth on my iPad. My general impression of this Combo is that the downfall of this product is the iPadOS. The iPadOS is simply not designed for Laptop use unless all you do is browse the internet. Because of this, I use the combo less and I do not consider this combo to replace my Macbook.
