Great construction - lighter than competitors. This is my second series, much improvement over last. Long battery life! Easy to attach iPad then remove from Brydge to carry just iPad - just what I wanted. Love the ability to switch easily from iPad to Brydge keyboard - good keyboard function!

The keyboard had excellent packaging, installation was straight forward and very easy. I updated the firmware and away it ran - flawlessly. The multi-touch trackpad really helps. I love the new design and it feels great to type on, but unfortunately it was defective out of the box. The \ keycap was sticking and even after getting the cap to stop sticking it constantly types \\\\\\ at random times making it unreliable. I opened a support ticket and had to send it back and am now waiting to find out if it’s covered and hopefully get a replacement. After waiting for a couple of months from preorder only to get a defective unit and find myself waiting again, I’m pretty disappointed.

I like the keyboard and it has started out pretty good but the whole trackpad doesn’t work all the time and I have to “click” on what I want to open more then once about 40% of the time. I am hoping it gets more consistent in the reactions of the track pad so the review might change.

The presentation of the keyboard is first class, unfortunately in my first experience of use it was not the desired one, the equipment without having the battery depleted and with only hours of use stopped working suddenly, it was not worth connecting it to the update app to the purposes of validating that the problem was not with the firmware; even so it continues not working, in short I could not use it at all. I can assure you that this team really has very good intentions in terms of design and quality, however they must change the way the team connects to the ipad (not by the bluethooth) it should be by the smartconnetor.

Like the keyboard. Fit and finish is nice and it’s easy to set up. Looks like all the app does is install firmware so nothing that needs setting up there. The space grey is a perfect match for the space grey iPad so I’m guessing silver is also. The keyboard backlight will be a matter of taste. There is purposeful leakage around the keys. I generally prefer only the letters being lit up but the way they do it doesn’t look bad and some people prefer that. It would be five stars but customer service after ordering was terrible. I’m hoping the keyboard quality is as good as it appears because I don’t have a lot of faith getting repairs after the fact will be easy or quick.

Sometimes loses connection, takes a long time to reconnect to wake up the iPad. You can’t wake it up by clicking the trackpad. When you pick it up by the left or right corners, it clicks the trackpad down. It seems buggy because the cursor will stop moving smoothly and you have to drag across a bunch to get it to move anywhere. The gestures don’t work consistently, like going home or pinching to zoom. Sometimes it gets so bad I have to restart the iPad to get it to work, other times disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth.
