Compared to Apple “magic” keyboard, which I also own. Where the Brydge Max is superior: Keyboard, top row keys (esp. sound and screen lighting, looks, overall feel, comfort on the lap, attaching rigamarole, price. Where tbe Apple “magic” is superior: though the trackpad is much smaller, Apple’s is easier and more fun to operate; connectivity—Brydge has done about as well you can with Bluetooth, but Bluetooth still sucks.

Not a soft touch or "tap" to right click on the screen. Very hard, clunky, "plasticky"' sounding right click. How can this not be just a soft tap for right click on such an expensive product?

I usually don’t write reviews but this keyboard is a must have … pros cheaper than apples native keyboard , lapability is a whole lot better than apples native keyboard that’s the reason i got this … also it gives the iPad a real laptop feel …. The keyboard is a true pleasure to type on , top row function keys are great …trackpad is huge !! Completely blows the first gen out the water …..now the cons ….even though its easier to use on your lap than apples native keyboard its still top heavy and tends to tilt over if you use the full degree of the keyboard angle ….weight .. agian its heavy probably weighs as much as an older MacBook Pro { but that doesn’t bother me } … and there is no smart connection like apples keyboard so no pass through charging which isn’t a deal breaker for me ….overall i love this thing don’t bother buying the first generation get this one

Well built BUT heavy, felt heavier than my MacBook Air.

Love the large trackpad the gestures are great with the fill of a MacBook The downside the key board does not charge the iPad so you will have to charge them separately It is a little bit on the heavy side Apples Magic Keyboard but the large trackpad is worth a little extra weight The workman ship I would give it a 3 star not sure if it is a design issue or a assembly issue the bottom seems to be over tighten leaving the bottom edge all the way around sharp

Have always had MacBook Pro guy, decided to make the switch and get an iPad Pro 12.9 with this keyboard (Brydge 12.9 Max+. Glad I did, Brydge’s product and quality is top notch. It is literally apple quality, apply finished aluminum even down to the screws they use. There is no delay in typing..the key strokes and lighting on the keyboard is like the MacBook bro. The clicks, scrolling are flawless, the battery lasts forever. If you’re not decided, get it, you won’t be disappointed. Well done Brydge, well done!

This is exactly the keyboard I was looking for. Pairing is seemless. The trackpad is glorious with no functionality issues, keys feel great, the shell is sturdy, and the overall design of the white 12.9 Max+ pops. No complaints.

Get device, exactly what I was looking for my 12.9” iPad Pro 2020. Give it four stars instead of a full five, because of the weight and not equipped with the connector of Apple’s keyboard, which would not require a bluetooth connection or to be charged. Still a wonderful device and I’m very satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend this over Apple’s version if you are someone that is looking for a Macbook feel to their iPad Pro.
