“It is definitely heavier but that is the reason it works. Normally with a laptop the screen does not weigh much, however the surface has all of its components behind the screen so you need a heavier keyboard to compensate. When I want it lighter and more portable I use the normal flimsy keyboard and when I want to use it on my lap I use the Brydge.”

“This is my second keyboard for my suface pro. I have also purchased other Brydge products. In every case the products are delivered accurately, timely, and without issue. The quality of the products are outstanding. Price for this keyboard is cheaper than a surface keyboard and much improved. I am a Brydge devotee!”

“The trackpad needs improvement. No right-click button. I'm sure most have moved beyond this but it would be a nice feature to retain. The trackpad itself can be touchy to use. Double-clicking sometimes requires a very hard double tap. Drag and drop is touchy and half the time doesn't work well. It is also so touchy that the on-screen cursor will move slightly and move away from what you're trying to click on.”

“That's right that this keyboard improves the experience of the surface. But it is heavy. It's necessary to balance the surface but....And the trackpad is too small. The original sold by microsoft is far better.”

“I'm so glad I bit the bullet and bought this Brydge for my surface. The battery life is insane, I charged it for 2 hours when I first received it (almost a month ago) and it still flashes green when I check the battery. It feels exactly like a Macbook keyboard and it's so sturdy, I'm so happy my Surface can finally function like a normal laptop! If you're debating this, just go for it and buy it! It's so worth it.”
