not a bad product but not great. very heavy for just a keyboard, the hinges dig into your thighs when held on your lap and some of the keys squeak annoyingly when pressed. and you missed a huge design opportunity win to create a secure holder for the Surface pen - would have been easy to implement a mechanism for holding the pen e.g. a slot on the keyboard which would hold the pen when the screen is closed.

I'm not the kind of person to leave reviews, but felt obligated since I had such a good experience with this product. The only thing that i didn't like about the surface pro was having to use the kickstand when you want to use it as a laptop and this completely fixes that issue. While using this keyboard you get a full laptop experience instead of being limited by the kickstand and the cheap keyboards that come with the surface. It also works great as a wireless keyboard when i connect my surface to a larger monitor or projector for presentations. I was a little disappointed that it went on sale and was $50 cheaper the day after i bought it for black Friday, but if you are on the fence about this product because of the price trust me in saying it is well worth the money! I'm not sure if anyone from Brydge actually reads these reviews, but if they do a great product idea would be taking the same concept of the keyboards that have an extra hard drive in them and instead put a second battery in the device. Surface products have a known reputation of having short battery lives and I know that I would have personally spent spent the extra money to buy one with a battery extender that you could plug in when close to dying. Just an idea incase anyone reads these, but 10/10 would recommend and have already had several co workers purchase this product because our entire department has surface pro's.

Turns the Surface into a nice little convertible. As others mentioned, the touch pad is a little iffy, but nothing ya can't get used to.

Edges are sharp like blade. I am afraid it may cause any harm when i'm trying to open. Robust build, keys are smooth, very good battery life. Bit heavy.

I've only had it for a day, but it oozes quality. Fit and finish are great. Can't comment on battery life. The additional sdd is a nice touch, unfortunately it uses the only USB connection the surface has. Not a flaw of the keyboard though.

I love my surface, but with my Brydge keyboard it's taken my productivity to a whole new level. It's truly turned my Surface into an effective tool that allows me to work on the airplane, sitting in my recliner, or at my desk with very little support. Unlike with the Surface built in kickstand which needs a bit more table surface area and is sometimes challenging to situate on the airplane tables.
