The Brydge 12.3 keyboard is an excellent companion for my Surface Pro 4. I am able to use the Surface Pro 4 as a laptop while traveling and it is the perfect size for airline tray tables. Working while sitting at airports and hotel lobbies is much easier with the Brydge 12.3 keyboard attached to my Surface Pro 4. The glass trackpad makes is much smoother than the previous plastic trackpad. It is smaller than other keyboards and may take a few days to get used to the size. But I have found it to be responsive. The three levels of backlit keys are bright enough to type in dark locations. The keyboard is sturdy and complements the tablet in look and feel. A necessary addition is the Brydge 12.3 screen protector which has cutouts for the hinges on the keyboard. This allows the tablet to be removed with less force. The only negative aspects of the keyboard are minor so I am keeping the 5 star rating. The keys seem to attract oil much more than the Surface type cover, which I still use when I want to stream movies or take notes using the Surface pen. Every now and then, the keys will repeat letters without me typing anything. This is probably related to the Bluetooth connection. Other than these minor inconveniences, the Brydge 12.3 is a necessary companion for the Surface Pro 4 (and Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro).

I really love this keyboard, it feels great, and turned my Surface Pro 3 into a development laptop which I feel I couldn't get with the touch cover. I can actually use it on my lap on a couch! The only negative is now my surface weighs a ton. But I'm not traveling with it, so I don't mind. And it's kinda cool that it weighs so much, it really makes the surface look like a crazy sci fi laptop.

Works well but is a lot heavier in weight than the original Microsoft keyboard.

I bought this for my Surface Pro 3 and it is the solution I have been searching for to make it easier to type on the go! I once dropped my Surface and shattered the screen because the Windows Typecover didn’t support it well in my lap. That will never happen again with the Brydge! It also has a great design with a backlit keyboard that makes it look like a mini MacBook. Battery life is great. The only drawback I have found is that it makes the computer slightly heavier.

The connector for my type cover broke and I have been having to use bluetooth, so buying another Microsoft Type cover was not going to happen. I also didn't really care for the type cover. Searching online I was trying to find a good replacement that would be sturdy and came across Brydge. This Brydge keyboard works really well with my Surface Pro 3 and allows me to use it like a laptop when I need to or a tablet by just removing the keyboard. The keyboard is way sturdier than the type covers. I have had not issues using it yet. It was a really great purchase

A great keyboard and really compliments the Surface, there is a minor delay sometimes from the bluetooth and the touchpad buttons are a little clunky. Other than that would highly recommend it to anyone wanting the stability in the keyboard.

I was having some serious regrets about buying a Surface tablet but the Brydge keyboard has effectively turned it into a laptop. I actually use the thing now!
